In order to provide successful treatment, we use techniques including detailed medical histories, comprehensive orthopedic and neurological physical examinations, electromyography and nerve conduction studies, and X-rays to determine an accurate diagnosis.
Accurate diagnosis is the key to finding the best treatment for your pain. Knowledge and using the right equipment is the key. We therefore offer the following diagnostic services:
MRI & CT Scans
MRI or CT scans may be ordered to obtain more detailed images of the soft tissues and bones and to determine the presence of injuries that are not visible on regular x-rays.
Electromyography and Nerve Conduction Velocity Studies
To test muscular activity and nerve conduction, allowing diagnosis of radiculopathy, nerve damage, neuropathy, carpal tunnel syndrome, or other problems of the nerves and muscles. Once the degree of nerve or soft tissue damage has been determined, a rehabilitation program can be tailored to meet your specific needs. These tests may be done in two visits.
Sensory Evoked Potentials
To study pathways from the brain to the limbs.
Computerized Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE)
Using the most advanced technology available to objectively evaluate a patient's functional status and ability to perform certain activities.
X-rays
We offer low-dose, high-resolution X-rays that reduce your radiation exposure by 50 percent.
